About this prompt
Chief-of-Staff Weekly Briefing
Most founders spend 70% of the week reacting, hold a three-hour Monday review, and push the hard decisions to next week because there is no time to think. A twelve-minute Sunday-night briefing replaces the review. This prompt casts the model as a blunt chief of staff: it reads your numbers, notes and open threads, and returns three priorities with a Friday action each, the two decisions you are avoiding with the cost of waiting and a call made, the one risk that reads fine and is not, the question you are not asking, and one thing to stop doing to make room.
How to use. Paste the week's metrics, your running notes and open threads. Name the company context, what only you can do, and the decisions you know you are postponing. Keep a Claude Project or ChatGPT Project with the company context pinned so you only paste the week's delta. Every item in the output must point at a specific number, name or thread — generic advice is forbidden by the prompt, and the model is told to say "insufficient data" rather than guess.
What to change. For a department rather than a company, replace "chief of staff" with "deputy" and the company line with the team's remit. For an agency owner, add "clients at risk" as a sixth item.
Not a fit. Teams with no weekly numbers, and decisions that need HR or legal judgement.
