About this prompt
The One-Page Brand Brief
Every AI marketing prompt you run — copy, ads, email, visuals — starts from the same handful of facts: who you serve, what pain you fix, why you can, and how you sound. Writing those down once and pasting them at the top of every prompt is the difference between generic output and on-brand output on the first try. This prompt produces that brief in a fixed structure under 300 words.
How to use. Fill in the seven variables honestly; "everyone" is not an audience. The output has six sections: positioning in the audience / pain / edge form, an audience snapshot, a measurable promise, voice rules with example sentences, proof you can use, and a one-line instruction for future prompts. Anything you did not supply comes back as [TODO] rather than invented. The final skeptic re-read tells you whether the positioning survives contact with a doubtful customer.
What to change. Save the output as the custom instructions of a Claude Project, a ChatGPT Project or a Custom GPT. Re-run quarterly or when pricing changes. For a personal brand, replace "brand" with your name and "product" with your offer; the structure holds.
Not a fit. Portfolios with several distinct brands (run once per brand), or teams that already have a full brand book — extract the brief from it instead.
