About this prompt
Eight-Second Product Teaser
Veo does not respond to captions; it responds to direction. "A founder in a kitchen" returns static b-roll that could be from anywhere. Subject, action, camera, light and audio — each named — returns a specific moment that reads like a polished commercial. This prompt is that structure, with the details that separate good Veo output from stock: one beat timed to a named second, a slight handheld feel so the camera does not look robotic, a hold on the last two seconds, and layered audio so the clip survives being un-muted.
How to use. Decide the single beat first — the laptop closing, the coffee poured, the door opening. Fill in the eight variables; keep the action to one sentence. Run, and judge the clip muted first (does the visual tell the story?) and then un-muted (does the audio match?). Fix the lighting line before anything else if the clip disappoints; it is the cheapest upgrade.
What to change. For a product rather than a person, replace the subject with the object and the action with a reveal ("the lid lifts at second 3"). For social, change "right third" to "top quarter" and render vertical if the tool supports it. Works in Kling with the same structure.
Not a fit. Montages — write one prompt per beat and stitch in your editor — and anything that needs a real, identifiable person.
